Ramex, Europe’s most trusted manufacturer of hose reels, designs and construction all of their reels with the greatest priority placed on the operator’s comfort, ease of use and safety. Employing only the highest quality materials and components, the Ramex range of retractable, manual rewind and motor rewind reels ensure exceptional performance, durability and hygiene for any work site.

In addition to the standard AISI 304 stainless steel, Ramex reels are also available in powder coated steel or, where higher standards of hygiene and chemical resistance are required, in AISI 316 stainless steel. ATEX compliant reels are also available on request and Ramex will design custom reels for specialist applications.

Unlike other reels on the market that use brass swivels and shafts, Ramex use AISI 303 swivel joints and hardened and ground AISI 416-420 shafts, making their reels extremely durable, easy to clean and resistant to chemicals and fats.

Ramex exclusively use high precision German springs to provide a consistently smooth action in their retractable hose reels, reducing operator strain and ensuring easy recoiling after use. Unlike other reels which require costly specialist maintenance, Ramex’s springs are pre-tensioned and ratcheted into position to allow for quick and safe replacement on site if the need ever arises.

These reels feature a large selection of open-reel designs that can fit a wide range of hose diameters and lengths. Ramex’s stock range includes reels to cater for hoses 3/8” to 1” in diameter and up to 60m in length for retractable reels and 100m for machine rewind reels. The open-reel design also allows much easier cleaning of the hose and reel to reduce wear and tear and provide a more hygienic workplace.
