- This unit is designed to be fitted to an engine of 6.5 hp or above with a 3/4 inch taper shaft (j609a coupling). Check the attached technical drawing to match against your existing coupling. If a different coupling is required, please contact us for availability. This alternator can also be run via a belt a pulley with a bearing kit.
